To sustain them through the winter, the crabs have to build up extra fat stores which gives them that sweet, buttery flavor you won’t find in other types of crabs or in blue crabs from other waters. PACKAGE DETAILS - 32 oz containers of Maryland Crab Gumbo. HOW IT SHIPS - Our soups are handmade every morning and shipped fresh with gel packs. TO SERVE - Pour the soup into a thick-bottomed saucepan. - Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until thoroughly heated through. - Can be frozen for up to 6 months. STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS - Upon arrival, empty the cooler and transfer contents to your refrigerator or freezer. Product will keep for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or up to 4 months in the freezer.
